All I can say is that he ate an addional 1/2 cup plain last night at 9 pm he was hungry and after his morning outage he started barking as I tried to get the food ready I was not fast enough LOL hahahah

And he ate it all

1 cup and 1/4 can dog food

he played nice this am
and we then after 1/2 hour went for a walk I walk slow so i hope 1/2 hour is ok I worry about Bloat

he was so much happier today
I hope I am doing ok by him

He is a hoot really too funny

Re: eating like a champ

Others might correct me on this, but I believe 4 months is a bit young for much leash-walking. At this age his exercise should come from playing in the yard so he can stop when he's tired and not feel like he has to keep up with you.

I just want to add that I think it's great you're trying to do right by Bruno. So many people get a puppy and then don't bother learning about how to feed, exercise and care for their puppy.

Have you gotten into a puppy kindergarten class yet?

Re: eating like a champ

Walking on a leash is fine. You just have to watch them and stop BEFORE they get too tired. But if the puppy has been exercising regularly, by 4 months, they can have quite a bit of stamina already.

My pup is almost 6 months old. By 4 months, I was ready to stop walking a LONG time before she was.

Re: eating like a champ

we only go about 1/4 mile at the most I do many small walks
and being old its not that fast LOL

He is really good and I think having a full belly is really helping him

I hate starving animals and feel bad to think I was starving him for a month
but at least he eats now

No kidergarten class yet wil wait for next and last shot to make sure he is protected

you guys are great
