Talking 5month old GSD puppy in UK

Hi All,
Would just like some advice on feeding my pup. We are wanting to change from the advised BETA large breed food that the breeder advised us on. She isn't always interested in it.
I have trolled through all of the post and would really like to try the VICTOR dog food although I cannot locate where sells it in the UK apart from a 5lb for £45 which I would think is expensive?
Whereas I'm currently paying £25 for a 14KG bag of BETA.
Any advice would be great - and if anyone would reccomend anything else.

Thanks

Since you're in the UK try Farmina. Its an Italian company but I believe they are sold at locations across EU or you can order online.

I use Arden Grange. It was created by a german shepherd breeder. My girl can be quite picky but they have different sized kibble and flavours. Plus they do a canned range called 'partners' which is for dogs that won't eat kibble on its own. It's reasonably priced but get it online because it's cheaper and my girl does really well on it.

+1 for Farmina N&D or N&D grain free
It tends to run around 500 INR (or 5GBP ) per KG in India but I think I have seen it slightly cheaper in the UK
Keep in mind that it stinks to high heavens (to us humans) but pups seem to love it

Another vote for Farmina N&D. My dog rotates from the Codfish and Orange to Lamb and Blueberry and Boar and Apple. He's on grain free right now, but I'm looking to move him to their Ancestral Grain line because he's a bit of a hard keeper. He absolutely loves the food (and he's a picky dork too) and does really well on it. I love the company and their ingredients and sourcing.

Yes 5lb of Victor for $45 is crazy expensive, I get the 40lb bag for $55 in the US. Unless your a bigillionaire id say go with something else.

I also hate to throw a wrench in here but id also personally stay away from grain free foods due to all the new studies of it causing DCM (my last shepherd actually died from it).
Good luck in your search!

Hi Dav, UK here too (Scotland) and while I don't have a dog yet, I'm looking to feed RAW. Obviously you're looking for kibble so have a look here:
https://www.daf-petfood.co.uk/10-dry-wet-food

I'll be buying RAW from the same site.

What do I want? I want a GSD! When do I want it? NOW!
