have you had any contact or discussions with the breeder.
they need to know. If they are at all "reputable" , ethical , they need
to know as a data collection for making decisions for future breedeing.
if you got the dog from a byb , then chances are they do not care .
You are on your own.
where exactly are you seeing this "jump" ? Is it at the top - scapula , withers ,
or is is at the join of the "shoulder" with the leg - chest level .
one is muscle attachment , the other is joint , and there can be dysplasia there.
would need to see a picture (side view) and or video to see how much of this depends
on conformation .
not eating -- don't sit and force feed . This can become a problem .
what are you feeding?
dog DOES need to see the Vet .
does the refusal to eat have to do with a shy dog who feels pressure if you stand watching
him -- does he have a lack of digestive enzyes - bile , does he feel totaly uncomfortable after
eating -- bloat , and so avoids the experience.
