pure balance

my 9 month old gsd flash has been on pure balance chicken formula for a few months now his coat is shinny and his stool is firm and he doesn't shed hardly at all not like he was on baneful but he still tends to scratch at times not sure if this is from the food or what but he doesn't have fleas or anything like that ive checked so im not sure what it is from could he be allergic to the chicken

He could be itchy just from dry skin depending on your climate. Also check detergents and fabric softeners you use.
