How to switch from puppy food to adult food.

Greetings all. Ms. Xena is now 7 1/2 months and a steady 46 pounds. I have purchased Diamond Naturals Large Breed Adult Lamb and Rice to switch her from her Diamond Naturals Large Breed puppy Lamb and Rice food. Tractor Supply had a 10% off and it was almost time to buy food anyway. So here is my question should I start mixing the 2 food together or since they are the same brand and flavor is it okay to just start feeding her the adult food?

I'm a little picky with Xena and so I hope this is a right decision and I want to do it right. I'm pretty much a first time dog owner since it's been so long and we just fed my other dog whatever.

Thanks.

I would just mix it half n half until the puppy food was gone. It's virtually the same food so shouldn't cause any tummy issues.
