11 week old not eating as much. Feed 3x a day or leave food down all day?

Our boy Ares who we have had for about 2 weeks seems uninterested in his purina puppy pro plan. Im reading he might be a picky eater but before i go ahead and start pouring cat food and broth on his kibble i wanna know if i should be feeding him 3x a day or leave it out all day. I was thinking 2 or 3 x a day so it buikds his appetite a little more.

I don't believe in free feeding. It doesn't allow you to monitor when and how much they are eating and it hinders house breaking as a young puppy needs to void very shortly after eating and drinking.

I agree that putting the food down for 15-20 minutes and taking it up again until the next meal is best for the puppy.

your pup may not like what you're feeding him and that
doesn't make him a picky eater. i fed my pup 1 cup in the am,
1 cup in the pm and 1 cup noonish. he had a snack during the day
and training treats. a Vet visit maybe in order to rule out anything
medical. if you're going to top your kibble i think you should dog
food instead of cat food. there's a lot of things you can top his
kibble with.

1 >>>> you know how much food your putting in the bowl.

2 >>>> you take the pup out often as you normally do.
if you're not going to be home take the bowl away.
