Decreasing feeding?

So right now Sabo gets nearly 5c of TOTW adult venison/buffalo, one natures valley SMALL medallion, and salmon oil... when do I start decreasing? I see many of the adult dogs on here get two cups twice a day. When did u make the transition? He's 23 weeks tomorrow and exactly 60lbs about 24in tall and 28in long.

I would go by body condition, not size or age. If he is still lean and in good condition, he may not need decreasing yet. If he starts putting on padding, then start decreasing. My 5 month old pup eats around 6 cups of food a day right now still. That's about 2700 calories. Insane!

My gsd was fed twice a day and 1.5 cup each time, now he is a but over 8 months old and I give him 2 cup each time. (He is fed with purina gsd puppy food)

Depending on how he looks you can increase / decrease his food.
