Feeding Advice for 7 1/2 week old puppy.

We just picked up our 7 1/2 wk old female GS pup Sophie. I have heard mixed reviews on how often we should be feeding her. I have her on the Blue Buffalo puppy dry food. Can i please get some advice on how much to feed her and how often please?

Thank you

Hi Tony, welcome to the forum!

In general, feed one cup, three times a day. She may go trough some growth spurts where she gains height but appears ribby and lanky - feed her a bit more during that time. When she fills out again and looses the ribby-ness, go back to what you were feeding before.

Every puppy is different, so just watch her to see how she is doing - if she gets rolly-polly, cut back a bit. If she seems too thin, increase her daily rations.
