Additives necessary with a high quality kibble?

Hey all! Thanks for all the great information around here.

We bring our girl puppy home on the 24th of this month. We are very excited! Purchased from Vom Rheinlander in Riverside CA.

I decided to go with Orijen Large Breed Puppy for our girl. Since it is a high quality kibble, is it necessary to add toppings such as salmon oil, coconut oil, or other additives? The breeder tops their kibbles with Grizzly oil, but the kibble they feed is not the greatest.

I was considering adding Salmon Oil or possibly "The Missing Link for Dogs". However, does a high quality kibble like Orijen contain sufficient nutrients to where it would be a waste to throw on additives?

Thanks for your guidance. So much to do and learn!

If you're truely feeding high quality large breed puppy food, then you should not have to add anything else to her food. The food should have everything the pup needs.
