Blue Wilderness for a Toy Breed?

Right now I'm feeding Ozzy Blue Buffalo chicken and rice puppy formula and he's doing very well on it.

I was wondering if it would be alright to switch him to Blue Wilderness, given that he's a toy breed and won't be doing a whole lot of growing (which seems to be the issue for feeding it to GSD pups).

Also, I'm not sure if I'm feeding him too much or not. I'm feeding him slightly less than 1/4 cup a day and he weighs around 4 lbs. His stools are slightly loose, but still have form and are easy to pick up.

Is he getting a lot of treats too? That might contribute to the slightly loose stools.

I can't speak to switching to Blue Wilderness, but if it were me, I would be experimenting with different foods to see what gives the best poop and coat condition. If he continues to have loose stool, I'd try something else.

Are you feeding him the 1/4 cup in one meal, two, or three meals? It may be too much food for his digestive tract to handle at one time right now.

I'm not sure if his stools are loose or not. They look solid, but not as solid as the other dogs' that are on Purina.

He doesn't get any treats, aside from a little bit of chicken or cheese I use for training. I feed him the 1/4 cup split into two meals a day.

Oh, I should mention that he's twelve weeks old.
