Never heard of home-cooked called house food!
What type dry food are you giving him, and why are you feeding him "house food"? I think most any animal would rather have what we enjoy vs a bowl of dry kibble.
If you want to do the home-made route there is a section on that here, but not as active as the BARF/RAW threads. Raw feeding is easy once you get the hang of it, and the ratio of meat/bone/organ has to be correct along with the portion size according to your dogs weight. Maybe spend some time in that section reading all those threads?

Thre are some good recipe books if you want to cook your dog's food. We have used Wolfing it Down. We are planning to switch to raw in September when Bella is a year. What is REALLY important-what not to feed your dog-like raisins and onions to name just two-these foods can be really toxic! This book has good lists of what to feed and what not to feed.

Thanks but i just want to make sure it's ok to feed my 13 weeks home made food and raw food now. isn't he too young to eat raw food? his weight is 28lb now and he will be 4 month old on july 3

This book is for cooked dog food. Mia had a hard time on raw as a puppy (she had runny poops)and our breeder recommended we wait until she is an adult. Some pups do fine on raw...depends on the dog I guess. The ratio on raw needs to be pretty exact. With the cooked, I supplement w/ vitamins...and the dogs love it!
