When does weight gain slow?

For the last few wks, Zeva hasn't been hitting the 2lbish a week thing. She's almost 25 wks now. Last week she was 46.5, this week a solid 46. The week before she was like 45. Should I be worried. Hubs thinks I'm being a mother hen.

I switched her food, she's eating a lot, why isn't she gaining? Is it because she has been a little more active w/ the weather being nice last week? Maybe she burned it off? She ran around but not obsessively so.

She's lean, but not to the point you can see her bones... you can catch the shadow of a rib if the light hits her right.

Up until this point, she gained usually 2 lbs a week or what averaged out to be that. 1 lb one week, maybe like 3 the next.

My GSD (09/13/09) stopped his mutant growth & weight gain when he was about 5 1/2 months old. This might be a normal process in their growth.

Ok, that's about where Zeva is now. I just wanted to make sure... I thought she'd keep growing wicked fast until she was like 10 mos... First time w/ a GSD pup, always got adult doggies.

Damian was growing insanely fast and at 6 months he weighed in at 73 LBS I think?

He is going 6 1/2 months now and 73 LBS still.

I'm just surprised. I thought she'd hit about 80, but ... I don't know anymore. I have no idea how to predict her final size. Guess I will have to wait and see

Argos grew pretty quickly, about 10lbs a month until about 6.5 months at about 70ish lbs. From there he only gained another 15lbs.

Anka was 65lbs for the longest time...she's just started to fill out and is finihsing out around 70lbs, and she's a pretty tall female.

Karlo gained an average of 3# a week til he hit 5-6 mos.
Then he had another growth spurt at about 9-10 mos. He grew into his ears and tail! His tail hit the ground before that and his ears looked huge.
It plateau'd and he hasn't really gained anything from the 11 to 12 month.
He has always been tall and thin.
