Can somebody please post

Pictures of your 5 month old GSD puppies, from the top, showing how skinny and HEALTHY they should be? I'm having a hard time here getting some people to understand that she is too big for her age, right now.

Thanks!

Best I can do is this...

Are you thinking your dog is too fat for it's age?????

I'm afraid I don't have any pictures from the top down...But maybe these will help? Personally I think that lean is much healthier for a puppy.

This is Anka at 5.5 months. She's a little awkward and undermuscled in the butt because her legs shots up, but I think she's a great weight. She tends to be lean naturally.

Argos in comparison at that age is a little heavy. Not obese but at the very top of what I would want.

Thank you guys. Yes, she is too pudgy for what I'd like. Her trainer agrees (she is, seriously. I'll find the camera later.. theres almost NO visible waistline)
my moms like no, she's fine. a bit too skinny I'm like are you kidding me?! She's SUPPOSED TO BE LEAN, trying to explain how a leaner dog won't have the same problems as an obese dog developing. Just goes back to the entire, we eat more, we need to feed our dogs more state of mind that people have. My dad will sit there and eat infront of her and talk to her so I send her to her crate and go in the room with her and get dirty looks for it, well sorry if I don't want to ENCOURAGE my dog to beg. Earlier my mom was telling my dad he needs his OWN dog. I said are you kidding me? He wouldn't know the FIRST THING to do with a dog. Ofcourse, I get snapped at for being snobby about it but really.. Nice of him to put cheap flea treatment on Vida without consulting me too. And that oh, she wants to go for a walk! Ofcourse she wants to go outside, she'll go out later so don't worry about it!
All these comments coming from my mom, who has let her dogs thyroid and allergies get SO BAD that his fur was coming out in CLUMPS yesterday, and his skin was all red and he just stinks. I told her a few weeks ago that thyroid problems can = depression. She's like oh, he's not depressed. Ofcourse he is! He is left at home all day while she's at work.. She doesn't even walk him. My dad tries to feed the dogs everything. Like the entire 'they want human food, give her some candy.' sha-bang. Does not blow over well with me but I gotta stick it out till the summer! Other family members will both tell her one command (in english too, when they know she doesn't know what they are saying) at the same time using different words for it. Or one will be like, sit! and the one will say down!

Sigh. No matter how hard you try to explain to people.. they will not listen or reason.

Sigurd at 5 months old. I don't have great pictures of him on the side at this age.
