Eagle pack recommendations

I have read many good things about Eagle Pack on the web and from people who use it...especially on large breed dogs etc.

I have decided that I should import some decent food from overseas - and after going through all the foods and reviews and what people have said the following is what I could look at:

Eagle Pack
Canidae (have read that many have suffered from loose stools...)
Fromm
Wellness

Which would you most recommend based on your experience (for GSDs of all ages from puppies to adult dogs) and why.

Re: Eagle pack recommendations

I have been happy with Fromm, they don't seem to poo as much.Canidae has had too many posts of dogs suffering from the changes in the ingredient. No experience on the other 2.

Re: Eagle pack recommendations

I used the lEagle arge breed puppy for my dog. Once he was started on it, his Pano stopped. I was told by the company he could continue on it through adulthood if I wanted to. He is 6 years old now and eats TOTW. But if I should ever get another large breed dog, I will start out with Eagles' large breed puppy.

Re: Eagle pack recommendations

When I feed kibble it is always Eagle Pack, my dogs do very well on the food. And price wise, very competitive.

Re: Eagle pack recommendations

I have used Eagle Pack on the most part for several years. Bang for buck, a pretty good food...but they still have a large amount of stool.

Fromm is very good as well...I think when you get to a certain price level, and start looking at ingredients, there is not a great great deal of differences in teh food. I know some seem to be more palatible than others, my dogs never liked Candidae.
