What clubs/organizations do you belong to?

Just curious as to which organizations everyone on here is a member of? I realize some will be area specific, but there are others that are breed/sport specific. If you don't mind also sharing why you picked the organization that you did, great! Oh links would be helpful for those interested in learning more

Re: What clubs/organizations do you belong to?

CHILCOA, (Chilean GSD Breeders Association) Calama subsidiary.

I'm not into breeding and I'm absolutely not into show, but the only helper in town belongs there, so I train there too. I confess I've been loosing motivation the last weeks. All the philosophy behind what they do is not the same as what I believe. But there are a few good people and that's why I keep going from time to time, o at least hang on with other dog people.

I also belong to K-SAR Chile (see signature) a Search and Rescue organization. I'm 1.610 kms. far from there, but I still keep as much contact as I can and help in wich I can (not too much at the moment).

Diabla Boroluz, my Daemon; IPO-A1, RH-T A
Akela de Poputchik, my Direwolf; IPO-2, Kkl1
Calais vom Adler Stein; IPO-A1, Kkl1

Re: What clubs/organizations do you belong to?

We belong to an HSV club here. They provide different training for all breeds. So obedience, agility, Schutzhund. We have friends there as well that we know from before joining.

Also we are looking at joining another club that is breed specific that is nearby. No website for them.

Mace, Hexe and Blackjack
Along with Charlie, Oggy and Luna the cats
Plus Chickens, Ducks, Geese and Guinea fowl!
