Fitting Dog Backpack
It's been a while since I've posted. Sitka just turned two, is 73lbs, and is ready to start wearing a hiking backpack.
I've chosen the Lifeunion 2 in 1 Harness/ Backpack as a starter one - it is just for training and will only carry poop bags, treats, small bottles of water, water bowl for day-hikes.
Sitka has a very deep chest and narrow waist, as shown in the photos. My question is about sizing. I tried the large on him, and while it fit his chest, it was did not even come close to tight in the waist (no pictures because it was obviously the wrong size)
In the photos he is wearing the medium. I know it should be snug, but I'm wondering how tight is too tight. As you can see it is very snug against him, but I can fit my hand in easily. Keeping in mind it is winter in Canada so he is extra fluffy, how does this fit look to you?
