Fun fact: the fleece isn't so bad, but Orbee balls get particularly slimy.

Just go get yourself a dog sport training vest --- (they can be pricey) or the cheap substitute is a fisherman's or hunter's vest from a thrift store. Lots of easily accessible pockets on those things. Likely four pockets on front and the big "sack" like pocket in back. No zippers to fuss with, velcro on the flaps, fits over most jackets or not.

You don't want to fuss with a doggy back pack or fuss with the fanny pack.... The vests are handy and not cumbersome --- They're designed for activities like this....

I had two issues with the vest. It was hot in the summer and hard to get over a parka in the winter.
