Best dog food for dog with hip dysplasia?

My dog has sadly been diagnosed with medium/mild hip dysplasia on one of his hind legs, the vet told us it would be considered a C hip. She told us to start on a antiinflammatory diet.

I dont know alot about hip dysplasia and which food is the best of the best for this case, I've looked into Hill's Prescription Diet j/d Joint Care or Purina PRO PLAN Veterinary Diets - Joint Mobility - Are these two brands considered good or can you guys recommend something better thats available in Europe?

Thanks for help in advance! <3

What are you currently feeding at the moment?

I have GSD with hip dysplasia and I have not changed her diet but I have added homemade bone broth from chicken feet which is full of glucosamine and chondroitin. I am also giving her golden paste (turmeric, coconut oil and black pepper) and adding extra vitamin C to help with the collagen.

She is also beginning weekly hydrotherapy sessions to build up her back leg muscles.

Make sure your Shepherd is not carrying excess weight and do not do any strenuous activities.

A good supplement is yumove and it is backed by veterinary research.
