Not Interested in Orijen food anymore...

Hi All,

Leo ( 2 years and 9 months ) is on Orijen Original and Six Fish. I switch between these every 3 months as he can handle both the formulas.
Off late, he is showing no interest in either one of them. He will eat half of it and let it go or even skip a couple of meals. You have to coax him to eat the food. No health issues as far as I know. No Diarrhea, stools are normal. He recently had a fecal test too ( all -ve) .

Should I be concerned about other health issues or is it that he has lost interest in these formulas. I am reluctant to try other foods as It took quite a bit of experimenting to figure out that Orijen suits him. Also , It takes a while for him to get used to a new food.

I've made sure there is enough gap between meals. He eats 1.5 cups twice a day ( 7:00 AM and PM). He gets a few treats in the afternoon. He gets lots of exercise too. 3.5 miles in the morning ( I Bike and he walks) and about 2 miles in the evening ( we both walk). Play time in the afternoon/late evening.

Has anyone else experienced something similar where they lose interest in food and there were no health issues ? Please let me know .

Thanks for your time and feedback.

He probably needs/wants more variety. You don't eat rice and beans your entire life either.
