Is my pupp going to be big?

Z is 3 months and weighs almost 29 pounds, she does not look overweight and I take her for runs every morning for an hour so does this mean shes just a big german shepherd?

Thanks

Do not take your puppy for an hour run every morning at 12 weeks old. This hurts development and stresses not yet strong bones... Short daily walks at this age - no long runs for many months - their structure grows very slowly (2 years). GSD's have a history with bone and joint problems.

My female GSD pup was 34lbs at 10.5 weeks. All the more reason I took it easy on her growing structure. She's more prone to problems in later life because of the weight and oversize.

I don't have a comment on how big your girl will get, but I will comment on you running a three month old puppy for an hour every morning. That is really not good for her growing joints. If you meant that you let her run around at her own pace on a soft surface (grass), please ignore my comment. But, if you are running her at your pace on a hard surface at this age, I strongly recommend you stop.

She's a real cutie. Best of luck with her!

My 2 males were 31 and 36 pounds at 12 weeks. Both are 100 pounds now at 2 years and 6 years. The 2 year old is thin and taller than the 6 year old tank.

Yeah we just walk but on the way back she likes to run and if I dont run with her she would usually just pull the leash hard
