Exercise related/video posted

Hi everyone, well I just saw a video of malinois puppies on facebook and I was wondering if this kind of exercise for german shepherd puppies is appropriate at this early age?. I need knowledgeable folks opinions on this. It kinda made worried about joints. What would ya think?. Have a good one.

I think it was a minute and a half, none of the dogs were on leash being forced to do it -- perfectly fine. I think it's a great idea. I think people have reason to worry about joints and stuff but I think a lot of times it gets to be totally overboard. If the dogs want to run and climb, it's not going to cripple them for life unless they get some huge injury, but puppies are pretty darn hardy. mine fell down half a flight of stairs when she was younger and got up like it was no big deal.

Now if the dogs were on leash, visibly tired, and being forced to run through there? Okay I would stop that, but they're just being puppies and this looks good and fun for them. Just my opinion.

Saw that on FB myself... totally an awesome idea!

As long as they're going at their own pace and there are safeguards to prevent serious injury (like the safety net under the raised plank obstacle) it's a great plan.
