Jumping problem

I have a now 7 month old female. She loves to jump up and catch a ball but she lands kinda hard sometimes, I am wondering if allowing her to play this game will effect her hips and elbows? I know she loves to do this so much that she will bring me a ball, look at the ball, then me, then look up cause she knows that is where it should go lol. But I don't want to do it if it will mess her hips and elbows up. Thanks!

You are probably going to get differing opinions on this. But, I throw the ball close the the ground so my girl won't be jumping up. I do the same with the dog flexible frisbee. I don't want her to jump up too high and hurt her back. I may be overly cautious but she enjoys chasing the ball close to the ground like it is prey. It really got her ready for lure coursing too. She loves that for fun.

Thanks. I want to be careful with her but she get bored just running after it over and over again but she really likes to catch it and does the looking thing until I do lol. I might just start ignoring the look until she is more mature. I figure most people will tell me to not let her jump but I wondered if anyone had a pup that loved it and it didn't mess with their joints. Maybe I will just do some small bounces to satify the love of jumping hehehe. She is working lines so she isn't very roached or anything. Wonder if that makes a difference, probably not though.
