Excited piddler

I have a 10 wk old GSD that pees a little when ever he gets excited, or when he knows we are going out to go potty. Will he outgrow this, or do I need to invest in carpet cleaning supplies ;-P ?

Thanks!

My girl stopped at around 6 to 7 months old. When you come home don't rile him up-just speak calmly to him. He's adorable by the way.
