Loosing Teeth and Teething

Jake is 22 weeks and is loosing teeth and teething big time! Just this weekend he lost 5 teeth that we can see. Including the two fangs on the bottom ... It's funny because his tongue rolls all over the place without thos two teeth holding it in place.

Is this normal? Should we be concerned? How long does it take for the teeth to start growing in?

He just lost another while I was typing this message.

Kaiser (also 22 weeks) has lost all of his top/bottom incisors, and some of his molars and premolars. Adult teeth have replaced all of the above. His bottom canines are coming in right next to his puppy teeth...the puppy teeth will loosen and fall out as the adults push them away.

So, are you saying Jake does not have ANY adult teeth in yet?

We've just started taking notice the last few days to be honest. We are certain that all his adult incisors are in ... They are a lot larger than the puppy ones. Now that I looked it up, he's loosing his canines and premolars now. We didn't find any of the incisors, so I don't think we realized right away that he had started loosing teeth. Jake is our first pup in a long time, so this is all new to us.
