Is my puppy too big?

Eko is 15 weeks old and its been a little while since we weighed him but he is around 30-35 pounds. He seems like he's growing so fast! Is he too big?

I think your pup is fine. There is such diversity in weights on this forum ..but it seems ..as long as they're healthy ..is the bottom line. The last actual weight my guy got was at 4 days shy of 6 mos and he was 72lbs. Try and find the thread on how much did your puppy weigh....you will see a lot of differences.

He is a cute little devil

As long as you are not overfeeding you can't control how his body will mature. My boy was probably in the mid 20's at that age but his frame is overall smaller. All are different!

I actually have a picture of Mac when he was a little older than that and he looks pretty close. And Mac has grown to be an average sized GSD.

Good, I'm glad. I've been pretty concerned about it so I've been very closely monitoring how much food he eats, I feed him enough so that he's not hungry right after, he eats and then he's done. He tells me when it's dinnertime, he'll go lick his bowl and bring it to me and it's been about the same time every day so I know he's satisfied, and I feel his ribs everyday. I found that thread you were referring to, he's pretty much average for his age and I also looked up a growth chart for german shepherd puppies and he's pretty average according to that, too so I feel much better. I've never had a dog grow so much so quickly! Every time I turn around he seems bigger!!

He's already almost as big as my roommate's pit bull/lab mix!

as long as you're not over feeding him he's
probably perfect. i don't give my dog tennis balls
because i think they're to small for a GSD, they're dyed
and they're probably made in China (don't know for sure).
