Socialization with puppies vs. adults

My 4 month old puppy, Willow, didn't have much socialization before we adopted her a little over a week ago. I have two adult GSDS (~3 years) that are teaching her everything she needs to know about being a pup. They play with her, tug with her, and reprimand her when she's out of line. Also, we have her in training so she's getting socialized with some dogs there. The problem is that I don't have any puppies to socialize her with, and all of her socialization has been with adult dogs. I don't know if this is okay or not at her age, or if I should seek out some puppies for her to play with? Does it really make a difference?

I wouldn't worry about it as you have two adults that are actively interacting with her. Be sure to get her out and about with other safe puppies and/or adults too. Just the two you have generally aren't enough for a well rounded dog-safe dog.

Doesn't really matter as long as she gets to meet enough different dogs to socialize with. I actually prefer adult dogs for socialization I think they teach the puppy more about proper behaviour than other puppies would.

Delgado was raised around adult dogs, the only puppies he's been around was his litter mates until we started his puppy socialization classes at 13 weeks.

I personally prefer to socialize with adult dogs, they teach proper behaviour unlike other puppies. But being able to socialize with all age groups does help them in the long run become a more well rounded dog
