How much more weight will she gain?

Sammie is now almost 16 months old is she weighs a very lean 63 lbs. She is fairly tall for a female at almost 25". In the past 2 months she has gained about 5-6 lbs and you really cant see it on her very much. I know they dont fully mature until around 3 years so now Im really curious to see how much more weight she will gain until then. I wasnt expecting more than about 65 lbs but now Im wondering if she's gonna be 75-80 lbs. Also she is only 75% GSD. Her mother was half GSD, other half unknown weighing just over 50 lbs and the dad was a purebred weighing between 90-100 lbs. She seems to have taken after the father as far as her size. Here are some new pics of her

And on a side note, does she resemble a Belgian malinois at all to you guys? I ask this because I have had a lot of people ask if she was because of her short hair and lean build. Obviously I know she isnt because I saw the parents and malinois dont have saddles but I was wondering if yall see the same thing other people have been seeing.

I'm no expert, but Shasta has weighed 78 pounds for the last 8 months. She will be 2 at the end of April. I'm not expecting her to gain any more weight.

I'll be interested to hear he responses because my female is 13 months and very lean as well. She only weighs 55 lbs but is the same height as my 95 lb 3 yr old male. Granted he is a muscular, manly beast lol but she is still very thin.

But does Shasta look like she could add some more weight? Sammie definitely does. She has gained 5-6 lbs in the last two months and it was barely noticeable.

FWIW, Abby was 62 at 8 months and she is 69 at 2.5. She is lean but I wouldn't want her to be more than 72 tops because her ribs and hips are well-padded. She is 25 or 25.5, not sure which. She looks square in this pic but she is 8 1/2 x 10.

My girl was about 65 pounds at that age. She's 5 years old now and weighs 68-69 pounds.

Hmmm maybe she won't gain much more then. Does she look like she has some filling outer to do? I've seen other females that didn't have the height and length that Sammie does but outweighed her by ten lbs.

Personally I think a shepherd should be Lean. They are working dogs made to run and be able to do anything from herd sheep to jumping a 6/7foot fence. These big or heavy dogs are not always a good thing. Your dog looks great and is well in breed standards I would not worry. But I am not expert.

I don't see Mal I see a lean pretty dog that could get just about any job done that she wants. She does have a short coat. Most people are use to seeing a GSD with a longer fluffier coat. That is what I think might be throwing people off.

Cookie - 8yr GSD mix rescue
Indy - 13 Yr Pom/chi mix
Hazelnut- 1 yr/ old GSD rescue

It's hard to say because she's so fluffy. The vet thinks she's just right.

Your dog does not look like she could add some more weight (I mean without being heavy). She is definitely not underweight so if you want to keep her lean and healthy keep her where she is. Filling out is about muscle not just about being a certain heaviness. My male shepherd is almost 2 and he has not gained any weight in the last 6 months (in fact he is 3 lbs leaner) but he definitely "looks" different in the shoulder and chest. Females I am not sure there will be much difference plus since she is a mix you can't really compare her.
