7 month old pigment change on a sable.

Just wondering if this is normal, just noticed in the past few days Immo has lost his dark pigment near his back hips.

Around this age my female started losing her puppy coat, including her dark guard hairs. She looked really weird and light for about a month until her adult coat started coming in, then she darkened back up again.

No out of normal scratching. I am hoping its the puppy coat thing. We just changed his diet again, and he has finally gone almost 4 weeks without diarrhea, I would hate to have to try to do it again just after we got him pooping normal for once.

Sables are almost always looking different, through out their lives. Shedding and seasonal changes will make them look different. The undercoat is very light and is shedding out, coming to the surface. Brush daily to help the coat shed out, and reduce scratching from the hairs falling out.
