Chuck it for puppies

Hi folks
I want to know your opinions of the Chuck it launcher and whether or not it is suitable for a puppy and their joints from 2 months old.

I love the Chuck it! But it does allow you to throw a ball much further than you can without it, and you really won't need to throw a ball that far with an 8 week old puppy. You may need to teach him to retrieve first anyway, and I usually started that by rolling it a few feet across the floor and encouraging the puppy to chase it and bring it back.

At 15 weeks old Halo was going to the park with us and playing ball, but we made sure to not throw the ball as far or as often as we normally would for Keefer so she didn't overdo it and hurt herself trying to keep up with him.
