Change of behavior?

Ok, Lizzie just turned one year old so I guess officially she isn't a puppy but she sure acts like one. some days she is so sweet and calm and I think she is growing up. Then the next she acts like she never had any training, just staring at me when I give her commands. Does anyone else have this problem?

She has been so restless the last few days, like she just can't focus or sit still....help.

Shepherds don't grow up until they are between 2 and 3 years old. My Chiefy was just like that until he was 3 and all of a sudden he stopped acting "fresh" and was the best behaved dog around.

Hondo is nearly 8 months and does the same thing. One minute he gives 100% and the next minute he is a crazy dog.

Is Lizzie spayed? When my girl starts acting bizarre it's usually right before she goes into heat...

thanks for the encouragement

Yes, she is spayed. I didn't want to deal with that. But thanks all, sound like an "immaturity" thing. I will be patient.
