White GSD Coat Changes

I see a lot of general coat changing threads, but not many white GSDs. I realize the change isn't as drastic as some sables etc, but I've noticed my pup's coat changing. I'm not opposed to it doing so, but I'd like to know if anyone has some pics of a White GSD's coat changing from Puppy to Adult. Blitz is 12.5 Weeks old and when we first got him at 7.5 he was pure white. About a week after we got him his back legs started getting kind of brown (I thought it was just dirt, but a groomer told me it was his fur). He also has a tan tinted line going down his back. It is much coarser than the rest of his coat. I'm guessing that is the beginning of his adult coat, but I truthfully haven't a clue.

I'm no expert, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't have pictures, but it's not unusual for a WGSD to get biscuit coloration around the ears, down the back, tip of tail, etc. In fact, of the 8 WGSDs I've had over the years, Faith is the only one I've had without some type of coloration. When Niki was younger, his coloration was what I'd call a rust color - as a matter of fact he had distinct markings like a b/t.

The WGSD we have is suppose to be full but the rescue group has been unable to get the papers from the previous owners, so who knows. But she has a light tan stip on the lower half of her back. she's somewhere between 2 &3 yrs old, & it seems to be getting lighter. the other WGSD they had had more vanilla coloring than white.
