Curious what you guys think

This is Lola. We purchased her from a local horse breeder/farmer who had two farm dogs that were GSDs. He bred them occasionally and she is an AKC registered GSD. We were able to get her pedigree going back 3 generations through the AKC.

I know she doesn't have the traditional perfect markings... she's just a family pet and I was more curious as to what you guys may be able to derive from her markings/physical appearance.

I'm no expert, but she looks working line to me. Very well-balanced - I bet she can go all day and never tire out. I suppose one of the more experienced members can comment more on this, but I'd say her head is a little "masculine".

Not that that matters a bit! She's got a lovely, intelligent look to her.

And not to get all creepy stalkerish on you, but is that the dog park in West Houston off of 6? I've only ever been there once, but I remember admiring a very nice looking working-type GSD - maybe it was your Lola!

That is indeed the place. We first brought her to the dog park last weekend and brought her Sunday-Tuesday and got rained out yesterday. The breeder we bought her from indeed spoke of her being bred of working GSDs that they used on their farm.
