posts from end to start??

I'm new here so I am admittedly a bit ignorant about this forum, but... other forums I've been on have posts shown starting from the first on page 1 and then going on from there. On this site, when you click on a thread it starts at the last post made causing the viewer to have to click over to the first post. Sometimes several "clicks" are needed if it has many pages, to see the start of the thread.
I would think it would be easier to read and navigate through if it started at the #1 post.
Anyway, great site!

Typically with vBulletin this can be changed in the "Options" area of your User CP. I personally can't access this page but that might be because my account is new. If it's disabled for all of us, I don't think there is much you can do about it.

go to the top bar and find Tools. Then choose CP (control panel). On that page, on the left hand side there is a menu and chose Edit Options. Scroll down quite a bit and you will find the options to choose the order your threads display.

I've never changed it out and have actually gotten to like reading from the back end. I just go back a page or two if I want to pick up the though from the past.

I found that I wasn't able to access CP until after a few posts. So just dealt with it until I was able to change the setting

Does anyone know how many posts you have to have before you're allowed to edit those options in the user CP?

Thanks!
