How to close my account

Well, you could sign up as someone else, get caught and then permanently banned. But it won't remove any posts you have made, there will just be a "banned" designator under your user name.

At some point down the road though, you may have a question that someone here may have a decent answer for. Taking a voluntary break from the forum, without burning any bridges is probably your best bet.

In my absence (when i am not keeping track my posts) can any body hack in my account and post abusive racial or other forms of threads that may have serious implications ?

It's always possible for an account to be hacked. But unlikely, considering this board that a hacker would choose to post for you on this board.

Tez, in your absence, can you log back on every once in a while.. If you are afraid of being hacked, then keep changing your password.

I think the user has every right to have his account deleted.
He probably has an email attached to it too.

Not sure about internet laws.
But there is something worrying about somebody politely asking to have his account deleted and being denied that.
