Trojan Program

I am getting a "Trojan Program" warning pop up and block from my computer when I open any page on this site. I never had this problem coming here until today. Every time I try to move from page to page it gives me the notification. It's quite irritating.

What gives?

Here is the message and what it's blocking......

"Downloading an object that contains a Trojan program"

"Blocked: HEUR:Trojan.script.Generic"

The "object" seems to be this website and it contains a Trojan program of some sort.

This computer isn't doing that with GSD forums.

We have AVG 2014, McAfee Security Scan Plus, AdBlock, and i always like some malwarebytes. (Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Internet Security Software) You can get free version for almost all of these. I would try running malwarebytes, they might find something. The Trojan Horse Virus, is not fun.. My old computer got one and it ended up changing a ton of things. Including the background of my computer to some writing, i forgot what it said. Was very scary. I was in a clan for a game, and was trying to get into the forums for it, and i clicked on the wrong link, and that contained some nasty viruses! The computer was not longer usable even after a complete reboot/restore/wipe/attempt at restoring to earlier date before the viruses, etc. I couldn't do anything with it.

I heard before not to have ongoing running multi malware/virus scans going long term. So we tend to keep one going at all times. But run different ones to scan for different things.
We had Norton and were not satisfied.

I run Kaspersky. I didn't have this issue until today. No problems with other sites. Just this one. I did have some malware problems recently. I wiped them out with spybot, but lost my language file in the process. No biggy.

I just mentioned this because it was something new. That and it's annoying getting a notification every time a new page is opened.

Hey guys..are you getting these warnings when you visit a certain page here on GSD or does the warning pop up no matter what page you click on?

Also, what kind of browser do you use?

Me also. I use Kaspersky,it started yesterday. And as soon as I click I to active topics...the warning keeps flashing saying it blocked another one.

I use Google Chrome, and it happens pretty rarely, maybe once a day? Always on seemingly random threads.

The most irritating thing I have noticed lately is that when using the back button, I have to click it twice, sometimes 3 times to navigate back to the previous page, and this is just on this forum. I am on a PC, using Chrome.

Sounds like Chrome is infected, not this site. I've seen this happen (to other people) on other sites. It's the computer or browser that is infected or has some adware/malware type add-on enabled.
