Reputable Breeders in/around NC

I am interested in adopting a German Shepherd puppy sometime next spring/summer. Preferably, a large red and black male priced anywhere from $1,500-$2,000. I am located in NC, but would definitely be willing to drive elsewhere in the Southeast for the perfect puppy. I want a puppy that is healthy, loving, outgoing, obedient, and loyal. Essentially, I am looking for a dog that will be my best friend and want to do everything with me, whether it be watching TV on the couch all day or spending all day hiking. I am more interested in having a companion than a show quality dog, if this makes any difference in your recommendations.
A few of the breeders I have looked into include...
-Haus Brezel
-von Lotta
-von BachHaus (Summerwood Farm)

Does anyone have experience with these breeders, whether it be good or bad? Or any other suggestions of other breeders? With this being my first GSD, I would greatly appreciate a helpful and informative breeder as well.

Thanks!

Adopting or buying?

von Lotta is who we recommend. We have seen their dogs, breeder is hands on, involved and knowledgeable, trains/titles/shows their dogs.

Sorry, I use those interchangably. I mean buying! Thank you for your recommendation. I have also been looking into Globalhaus if anyone knows anything about this breeder.

I trained a Global Haus dog this last go round and I liked him. Good dog, solid nerves. They are in NC.
