Sunday morning BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK.... ARGGGGHHHHH....

Well you would all hate to be my neighbours right now, it is 10:45 in the morning a great sunny morning, and my oh thought it would be a great idea to get his mate round who is a roofer by trade but works at the same hotel as my oh.

Well the roof guy is driving us nuts up and down the ladder, Nero is being rather vocal, very very vocal. there must be something about this guy he doesn't like.? usually he will bark at people who come on our property for a few minuets until he has figured out they are not going to harm us or they don't pose any threat. I let him bark as he is just doing his job after all. But I can usually calm him after a few minutes. Well today I can't. Nero really doesn't like this guy at all.! The roofer guy looks fine to me but it has been said before that dogs can definately see and sense things that we can't.

Maybe he is going to rip us of or something and still have a leaky roof at the end of it who knows.? Anyway we are currently now sat in the garden, I had to get Nero out as it is Sunday morning and I don't fancy a headache for the rest of the day. Ha ha. Does anyone else have a dog where they can usually handle the situation, but sometimes no matter what you try they just won't stop barking.! Maybe Nero has taken a disliking to his bald head ha ha ha....

Nero looks at me with eyes of love, he thinks Im far to wonderful to criticise or judge

No. My dogs sometime bark when I don't want them to but when I tell them to be quiet it stops.

Thought I don't calm them down to be quiet I just say "hush" in a firm voice.

Well it usually works for me when I say HEY enough, in my deepest voice which is very stern at all, but it usually calms him. Today it hasn't worked until my oh came in and told Nero to behave himself. Ha ha.
Nero has definately got a bee in his bonnet today.

I'd bet Nero isn't used to someone going up and down ladders and walking all over his roof! At least it is 10:45 am.
