There is but it's a huge fad/marketing thing right now. It's popular to have a 100% DDR dog so people are buying them up for that reason only when they really don't know what they are buying. Lots of scams involved with that as well
It is rare to find a "pure" DDR or Czech dog. Both types of dogs are far removed from what they were originally bred for. IMO, correct breedings of Czech/Slovak and West German dogs in a pedigree can produce some very nice dogs because they can offer greater genetic diversity. Current DDR dogs are popular for their pigment, big heads and strong bone, but not their working ability.
That's what I was thinking to me it doesn't matter one way or the other just want a healthy dog that fits me I have seen drive and color across the board in the same litter
