As the dogs get closer to the parents, their names suggest they were not necessarily well informed breedings. It might help by starting to identify what your goals are with the dog you want and what traits will help you accomplish those goals. Then start looking for breedings that are likely to produce those traits. Looking at whether a pedigree has Czech or DDR dogs in it is of little value unless you know about the dogs in the pedigree and what they tended to produce.

I agree with Chip. The close up dogs don't have much in the way of titles (sire and dam don't appear to have any) and I'm seeing a lot of missing health certifications. What is it about this pedigree that you like? What are you looking to do with a dog? There are a lot of informed people on this site that can make breeder recommendations if you talk about what you're looking for.

MacKenzie - Workling Line Female (In Loving Memory)
Wolfram - West German Showline Male [SG1, CGC, DDN, CN, EN, IN, VN]
Bash - Working Line Puppy

Hi Ejran & WELCOME!

Here are 2 good sites talking about "Type"
(Types of German Shepherds, by Wildhaus Kennels )

German Shepherd Types - German Shepherd Guide

As Kimble said....there are many qualified people here to assist you! A little info will help!

Questions for you to help folks here know a little more of what you want and need in a GSD:

*What activities or sports do you plan on doing with him/her.

*What type of lifestyle do you have that will include the dog?

*Tell a little about yourself/your family!

*What is your price range? (usual is $1,600 to $3,000)

*What state are you in and how far are you willing to travel (hours)?

*Are you willing to have a dog shipped?

Here are some good reading materials!
Things to look for in a 'Responsible' Breeder
(German Shepherd and Schutzhund Articles, by Wildhaus Kennels )

German Shepherd Guide - Home

Best of luck & take your time.....don't rush into getting a pup until you find the right breeder who will match the right dog to YOU.
