Puppy urine rash

I've noticed my puppy has got a bit of a rash on his belly right by his pee string. I'm going to try to get rid of it by washing and drying his belly with a washcloth as often as possible in the day and maybe a bit of coconut oil to help it heal, but how can I prevent the rash from coming back?

These older threads have some suggestions. And both the threads and the article recommend that your vet exam your puppy:

I went through the same with my puppy. My breeder told me that sometimes, when they pee, it splashes up to their belly until they learn how to clean themselves. I gently washed her belly twice a day and before I knew it, the rash was gone.
Hope she gets well 😁
