Flirt pole safety

Any tips on using a flirt pole with older pup (9months and up), without damaging joints?

Thanks

If you're careful about no sudden change of direction you'll be ok.Large figure eights and circles. It's harder to do when they're not young puppies because they're so darned fast

I only use it with young pups. Never when they get older like at 4 months. Too risky to me. Unless you have mellow dog.
