Comfortis for fleas?

Anyone else using Comfortis for fleas?

I had Ranger on Frontline since he was 8 weeks old when the vet said he was old enough to use it. But it seemed to no last the whole month and I was still finding a few fleas.

So my vet gave me Comfortis for him after he was 14 weeks old. She said it seemed to be doing good for fleas in our area...down south...lots of fleas!

So far so good. I gave him the Comfortis and not a single flea. And no adverse reactions at all. So far I am pleased....it is expensive....but if it keeps the fleas away....I'll pay it.

I just wish it covered ticks too. Luckily havent found any of those yet though...and we rarely to never go in the woods so maybe it wont be an issue.

I use Revolution which covers tick, fleas and heartworm. So far so good. Haven't seen any fleas or ticks on any of the dogs I've used it on. But it's a tad pricey.

Owned by Nini and McKinley.
