Brushless toothpaste/Benedent?

I was wondering if anyone has any kind of experience with either of these products?

Jazz hasn't cooperated to well with my attempts to brush her teeth so I was wondering if things like greenies really work at keeping plaque at bay and the woman at the store recommended those 2 products.

I haven't yet looked at the websites but here they are:

Dentals are expensive and if I can keep my pups teeth healthy without needing them in the future, my husband will be a happy man.

Re: Brushless toothpaste/Benedent?

I brush my dogs teeth - not as often as I should but she is pretty good about it.

A friend of mne has a 3 year old Shelie with terrible teeth. She was giving him a lot of greenies - I think she said she was spending $20/week - without any impact except that the dog gained weight.

She is now trying another product that is a gel that she rubs on to the teeth. The product claims that it softens up the buildup and can be removed easily with a washcloth. She just started so I cannot not offer any comments. She found this product by an interent search.

She also brushes his teeth daily.
