Nail trims (half moon end of nail tip question)

Alright I've tried to find it with the search function and just can't
so can anyone point me to the thread on nail trims where someone
said look at the end of the nail and when you saw a white half moon
you were getting close to the quick?

I've tried white, moon, dremel even and either I get no answers
to my "query" or 2 pages of threads. Very frustrating.

Thanks.

Valerie

Re: Nail trims (half moon end of nail tip question)

When the nail looks kind of like a bullseye you are near the quick. It will be black (outside), mostly white, then a black dot in the middle. I think Brenna's need to be done, maybe I will take some pics the next time I do them.

YES!! That's the one, thank you so much... have to pm
chicagocanine... I trimmed Sierra's the other day and looked at
the end of the nail for the whitish part... worked PERFECTLY
and I've been trimming nails for 40 years and never knew that trick!
