My family has owned a german shepherd for nearly 5 years now. She is a very

special member of our family. My son bought Kota when he was 19 and she is

very much a one family dog. Gentle as a lamb with the family but doesn't

like strangers at all. She doesn't act jealous but very protective of

myself, my husband, my daughter and my son. We own cattle and she doesn't

like even the calves to get close to us or our other dog, which happens to be

a daushund. They are great companions. I am sure others feel the same

about their dog. When she was only 6 months old, if she thought you were

going somewhere, she would jump into the truck through the side window or the

bed of the truck and go through the slide window on the back. She loves to

ride. Kota is very loving and we love her in return.
