Default Cookies

Is there a way to clear or expire cookies with this software?

Different from (if you are using Internet Explorer) going up to Tools, thne down to Internet Options, and then get into the Browsing History (delete?)

You can clear your cookies via your browser. If you provide for me which browser you're using, I can give you a quick tutorial.

Yeah, I know how to do it from the browser, and was able to find the cookies just for this forum in my browser cookie folder, but some software has a link where you can click and it will clear out all the cookies just for the forum. If you clear *all* your browser cookies, you mess with all your logins, if you pay credit cards online, etc. Figured that nifty vBulletin should have something like that too , guess not!

So being able to close the forums off is not a cookie issue I found.

Those options to "clear" your cookies just "expire" them; they don't remove them from your hard disk drive. Javascript cannot delete files on your hard disk. Only you can do that, either manually or with a cookie manager. Websites cannot.

Unfortunately, this site can't expire them either!

(thanks for the distinction, makes sense )
