Figured out how to upload, but how to post?

I finally figured out how to upload pics, but how do I post them? When I tried to add them to a thread, it just showed the URLs?
I apologize if this is covered elsewhere.

If you're using photobucket, just copy the img code, should look something like this with the first and last IMG in [ ]
IMG http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz39/Bama4us/DSCN1364.jpg[/IMG]

If it's not photobucket, I have no clue!

Thanks, but I have them in my album here on the forum.
Of course I could just upload them into my photobucket album.

Follow the same directions but use the img code from the album here.

i seem to have a similar problem.... my profile picture is not showing!! what did i do wrong???

When you are posting, there is an icon

looks like that, just above where you type. If you click that, and copy/paste the url into the popup window that opens (for instance http://www.germanshepherds.com/forum...nsertimage.gif puts that icon in this post)

You talking about putting an avatar photo in your User CP information?

This would be done the same as above. It works the same as photobucket.
