New posts not new

I'm wondering why when I click on the New Posts tab it is almost the same as the active topics and not really new stuff at all. I feel like I'm missing a lot of the new posts because they don't show up. I tried sorting them by date, but nothing happened. Why have a new posts tab if they're not really new?

I don't use either of the 'New Posts' OR 'Active Topics'. What seems to work better here is if you click on the 'Quick Links' and then 'Todays Posts'

Hey -
So how about the new Threads? Even using the quicklinks it still takes you to the latest post, not the newest thread. I'm missing all the new stuff.

Active Topics is your answer.

It's a link in the main nav. menu.

I find Active Topics pretty useless because it doesn't include the forum titles

Minneiski, You might have to use a combination of Today's Posts and New Posts??

I have to agree with LisaT, active topics only shows the busy stuff, not the new. All I want is a place to find the new threads. I feel like my threads aren't being read and that I'm missing a lot of the new stuff too.

I found I was missing out on a bunch of stuff. Right now I'm physically going to the individual forums that I Mod in, and that's about all I'm reading and posting in.

LisaT, the 'Quick Links to Today's Posts' does work seem to be working out the best. Though I'm also making sure I double check where I moderate.
