I miss the old board

To all of you that like this new set up...

I hate it. I miss the baby blue, the little flashing red envelope, all of it. I took a screen shot of it, so i would not forget what it looked like. I wish we could go back. The new format sucks.

I mostly miss the "Recent Topics" bar. I used that a lot!

Make sure you try to wander around and click on everything here. There is a black strip along the top of this site that has an 'Active Topics' as well as a 'New Posts' that you can click on to see the more current posts.

ALSO....there is a new option in front of the thread titles that helps go JUST to the recent posts under that thread. It's 3 dots in the shape of a triangle. For example

Hello from California

If you ONLY click on the 3 dots (not the 'Hello from California) then when the link opens it will automatically go to the newest posts.

I had a hard time at first, but I'm getting used to it and learning how to navigate around the board and use the new features. There are still a few things I don't like at all, but there are others that I really do like. I hope people stick around and give it a chance. This has always been the best GSD board around and it can only stay that way if our great members stay active and continue participating.

I do not like it either, everytime I post, All I see is a picture of my dog, I do not see what I post. In order for me to see what I post I have to go to "view your post" I have reported it- but it is still doing it, once I post this I will not be able to see what I typed...

oh well, nevermind, I just figured it out, when I am on internet explorer, its the problem, I just logged on with Firefox and I can see my post.... DOH!

I dont like it much either. It took me a while to figure out how to find PM's, delete them and everything else. I dont like having a bunch of pms all for the same message. Just another reason why I am not here hardly at all anymore. I used to love spending time on here, reading, attempting to help, and everything else. Just not the same.

People usually don't like change. I just started back on here, so was not comfy with the old one. It's a big board.
