I have been also playing with my Avatar and noticed that it was large like Maggies at first and once I changed it and then tried to change it back it said "image too large" to the same one I had it originally linked to so that once you change it once you have to have the smaller size but the ones that are carried over come in larger?

I dunno, natalie's was the only one I saw large. You're right that it sounds like the software didn't initially catch it, but I'm guessing that ultimately they all will be made the smaller 100x100. (I could be wrong, it's been known to happen!)

Admins and Mods can have 140x140 (don't know about super Admins!); I resized mine back down to 100x100.

I'm not sure, just I noticed that mine was as large as Maggie's at first and then I started looking at other pics as an avatar and then tried to switch back to the same one that was originally there and it said "too large" so I had to re size it down to 100. I'm fine with it at this size it's just something strange I noticed with the switch . It makes sense that admins and mods should be able to have a larger photo, it's nice to be able to recognize them easily!

That worked! Just a quick hint. When you delete stuff in a quote, it's often a good idea, particularly if it's mid-sentence, to use the "3 dots", just to help the reader.
